MELD 3.0 Calculator

I present to you the updated MELD 3.0 Calculator for end-stage liver disease assessment and life prognosis in patients with end-stage liver disease. It will simplify the work of doctors in assessing the severity of liver failure in patients.

The MELD score is used in children over 12 years of age, adolescents and adults and allows for the gradation of the severity of end stage liver disease.
This calculator also calculates classic MELD, MELD-Na and MELD 3.0 without albumin.

Also you could use MELD 3.0 Calculator Apple iOS Shortcut.

Result interpretation:

If the value of MELD 3.0 > 20 points in a patient with liver cirrhosis, he should be immediately referred for treatment to a hospital for compensation of the condition and / or liver transplant, since the predicted short-term (3-month) survival of the patient is low.

If MELD 3.0 score > 25, a patient older than 18 years of age should be assigned a severity status 1A and considered as a priority patient for liver transplant

If MELD 3.0 score > 25, a patient under 18 years of age should be assigned a severity status 1B and considered as a priority patient for transplant.
